Dear valued Ennoverse Customer,
To improve the quality of service that you receive, we would like to inform you that we will be performing a datacenter migration on the 25th of this month (February 25th Saturday). The at risk window for this change is the entire day. We are in the process of moving active clients to our secondary datacenter in the weeks before the move, to ease any potential downtime that may be experienced. Most clients will not notice any downtime but may experience larger latencies as our secondary datacenter is further away. Once the new datacenter migration has been completed and our post-checks have been satisfied for the new facility, we will start moving clients back to the new datacenter in the weeks after the February 25th datacenter migration.
Customers that use their own DNS servers with records that point back to our services will experience issues as we do not have administrative control of those DNS servers. There will be two instances that you will have to update your “A” records to point to your services on Ennoverse. The first instance is moving to the secondary datacenter and the last instance is moving back to the brand new datacenter. Please open a trouble ticket or send an email to support@ennoverse.com so we can get you the details as soon as possible to minimize your downtime. In the future we would highly recommend you use our own DNS services, as we provide a geo-redundant DNS network and can prevent these types of issues for you. If you are unsure if this applies to your account then you most likely are using our DNS services and we will handle everything for you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like clarification on if this affects you or not.
Also please keep in mind this change only affects customers that have Web Hosting/VPS Hosting/Game Server through us. Domain names are unaffected by this upgrade.
These upgrades will allow us to provide you with higher level of service.
